Many thanks, George. I've installed Avira and at first glance it seems
accessible, though I can't figure out how to do an on demand scan.
As well, does anyone know if I can install two anti virus apps on the iPhone at
the same time or will that cause problems like in computers? And if I unload
the anti virus (three fingers swipe up on the app switcher) will that render my
device unprotected?
Cheers,
Amro

Hi Amro,
I don’t know what you searched Google for, but I looked for
iPhone anti-virus
and got dozens of hits.
Here is one for starters:

Subject: [access-uk] Anti virus for iOs devices?
Hi all,
A quick AppStore and Google search for 'anti virus for iPhone' didn't return
any anti virus apps as such. So do I take it that there are no anti virus
applications for iOs devices and indeed they don't require one? And what about
Trojans and spyware, is the iPhone safe from those too?
I opened a Trojan attachment on my phone and although I think it most likely
didn't infect my phone, I'd feel a lot safer if I could find an app to scan my
iPhone for any intruders. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Amro
