I purchased a new pc and thought I would try Microsoft
rather than instal Eset. It appears to work very well so
far.

Like Jackie, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. It
took a lot to persuade me away from Eset Smart Security,
but this does work really well.

I would recommend the Microsoft Security Essentials
program for antivirus etc, it's excellent and has a
small footprint so it doesn't hog your PC resources
like some of the other brands do.
