Hi Jackie,

Slow I agree, but accurate I'd say. It's certainly no KNFB Reader, but it
does the job.

All the best

Steve

Hi Tony

I just couldn't get the silly sod to understand what street I wanted to
navigate to, and it wasn't that difficult a name! (smile).

I personally found OCR quite slow, but then you would expect it to be that
way as it isn't the fastest handset in the world. For me, the phone's
selling point is GPS, but some people will like having tactile buttons for
texting and navigating. I still can't be parted from my iPhone! (smile).

Kind Regards,

Jackie Brown

What a great review but am just wondering how you found OCR on the
SmartVision, your thoughts and all of that?

Perhaps it was too much to cram in to your review but I'd really like to
have your considered opinion.

Now as someone from southern Ireland I smile at Kapsy not understanding
those NI names, probably a number of them in Irish gaelic! LOL.

Cheers,

On the subject of phones, I have just written a review of the new
concept from Kapsys called the SmartVision. It is a Smartphone with
tactile buttons, or can be used as a touch-screen device, or through
voice activation.

It is sold in the UK by Steve Nutt or Sindhi Systems. There are two
flavours, and you can find the article about it on my website by going
to the reviews page.

Not advertising, just letting folk know what is out there.
