Definitely I will do that. I am looking for someone to help me get started
and do not feel I can burden Steve with this. I want someone to talk me
through making sure it is set up correctly on my phone. Any offers please.

Eleanor

I've never known charges exceed more than a couple of pennies every now
and then. Why don't you give it a go for a month or so and then look at
the bill to see if the charges are low enough for you.

Sagib, Right then do I not have to pay extortionate Internet charge all
the
time? I had understood it to be a couple of pence per journey OK and
that
was why I did not mind purchasing it. I am a little confused on this
one.
At present I waved the £5.00 charge on Vodafone for the Internet as I
would
not be using it and just could not see any reason why I should pay this
per
month. It was supposed to give me continued Internet Access. Are you
saying that even without paying that charge I would still be only paying
pence per journey? If I find I am using it a lot and if I could get to
learn how to do e-mails on my phone then Internet Access continuous would
be
good value indeed. I would never use my mobile for surfing the net as I
am
not that good.

Hi Eleanor. Internet charges are not much when you use WFA. I have used
WFA trial and am currently using WFN which also requires an internet
connection. It's couple of panies per journey or two at the very most.
It's not worth buying an add on for it.

Well Steve it is like a Sale and when there are sale goods I often
think
it
is because they cannot shift them, they are end of lines or whatever.
Dropping the price so much was just suspicious. Is there perhaps
something
better coming on the market or are they like Dolphin bringing out an
update
iminently?

Now take me, I am very stupid. I bought the Wayfinder Access and did
not
realize I would have to use the Internet all the time while I am using
it.
Now I am stuck with the software and receiver. Stupid I know but I
should
have thought to ask the question first. I can have Internet Access
with
my
Vodafone at an additional £5.00 per month which you might say is not
bad
but
there you are!

Hi Eleanor,

Presumably, they have recouped some of their development costs and now
can
pass it on. Let's be happy about it, rather than complain when the
price
falls. The developers can't win, they price it too high, and we moan.
They
drop the price and we moan because we paid more? Wow.

All the best

Steve

Why is the drastic fall in price? Makes one suspicious.
