Hi Andrew,
Yes. Tap the Overview button at the bottom right. You are effectively in
what you know as app switcher. Slide up with two fingers on each program
you want to close, or just press the Dissmiss App Name, whatever the app is.

Hi list,
On an iOS device, it is possible to go into the app switcher by double
clicking the home button, and then swipe up with three fingers on any open
app to close it. Is there a way to close apps you have opened on an Android
device?
