Hi,

Well maps, Navigation adn Local are all accessible and all built into Ice
Cream Sandwich and up phones.

Then we have Walkie Talkie, Intersection Explorer, and Place Saver, not to
mention Its My Stop. All of which do different bits of nav and are pretty
good. It's My Stop is particularly good, because it can trigger an alarm
when you are a number of minutes based on speed away from a train station or
any address. Intersection Explorer will let you virtually explore an area
with your fingers, getting the position of streets etc. All good stuff, and
most of it free.

So there's quite a bit of good nav stuff on Android and I suspect more to
come.

All the best

Steve

How accessible and reliable are any navigation programs on the Android

Hi,

The xperia pro and mini pro have some internal storeage but they take a
micro sd card.

I think they will take a 64gb card but would need to check that. I have a
32gb in mine.

You can use the touch screen or the keyboard.

I try to use the touch screen because I think that one day I may not be able
to get a keyboard phone but, you know, it is so much faster to type on a
keyboard.

The xperia pro is selling for £190.00 on amazon at the moment.

The difference between the xperia pro and mini pro is that the xperia pro
has a better battery and a better camera. It is slightly larger.

hth.
