Hi Bobby
I think the Pixel 3A is a slightly trimmed down spec of the Pixel 3. When it
is launched, the Pixel 4A will be a slightly trimmed down version of the Pixel
4. An XL phone means it is larger in size with a bigger display.
Blind Shell is a button handset that has been specifically developed for blind
people to use. It isn't a Smartphone, but comes with useful apps you would
expect to find on a regular phone: phone, contacts, text messaging, Email,
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, YouTube and a few games. If you want something fairly basic
with tactile buttons, then Blind Shell is it.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Thanks for the heads up on the android
Think I'll go for a google pixel as ya suggested, but there are
basically3 types inside my price range.
There is the google pixel, google pixel 3a and one with xl.
What's the differences?
And which would you suggest I go for?
And sorry Ibriham, but the phone is under contract with virgin mobile, so I'll
have to send it back. I'll most likely have to pay a penalty for canceling my
contract early, but I can't justify paying all that money when I hardly use it.
Only thing I use it for is calling and using soundscape.
I just don't have the patience to even try and type messages into the damn
thing.
What I really need is a good extensive tutorial I can work through .
Oh, and I heard about a mobile phone called the BlindShell. Do you think it's
a viable option? and where would I get it?
Thanks.
Bobby

If you’re going to be switching from an iPhone and your android device is
going to be your primary device going forward, I would probably say a pixel
or Samsung flagship would suit your needs best. Incidentally if you could
email me privately with details of the iPhone you have I might have a buyer
who is interested as I know someone who is looking for a new iPhone or one in
relatively good condition. Drop me a note if you’re interested in selling.

Hi,
I'm thinking about ditching my Iphone and switching for an Android or google
phone.
Can someone give me some tips on which would be the best models? I am
totally blind so don't require ones with large screens, high contrast etc.
Looking on the web, some say that the Google Pixel is a good one.
