hi steve.

i didn't imply that equal eyes was a screen reader, i said that mobile accessibility and equal eyes were replacements for the stock apps and that they were self voicing. anyway we will have to see what andrew comes back with...

Mo,

Again, Equal Eyes is not a screen reader. We're all getting Android
confused here. Talkback is the screen reader, so you were right in saying
Mobile Accessibility.

By the way, Equal Eyes is no longer being updated on the Play Store.

All the best

Steve

hi andrew.

there are other alternatives you could look at. try a search for mobile
accessibility, or equal eyes. both are replacements for the stock apps
you find on most android phones and provide a simplified experience.
they are also relatively inexpensive compared to solutions like synaptic
and telorian which cost more and again are designed as replacement
access packages for android phones. personally, i find talkback the most
useable but can understand that it may not be for everyone. i am writing
this in a hurry so i apologise in advance for not providing links. but a
google search should yield the links quite easily, as does a search on
the play store.

all the best,

Mo.

Hi Folks,

I am looking for a bit of info, Unfortunately - I have to use an Android
phone for work. I don't like Talkback at all, I wonder if anyone can
recommend a better alternative?

Many thanks in advance,

Andrew.
