There are sites that gives codes to make dbd players region free, that is, to make it so that any dvd plays on them. Here's one such site: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks Appparently, you have to follow strict instructions using the remote control. I've not doe this but I have a friend who has done so on two of his machines and it worked a treat.
