yes very disappointed in it and very expensive for the little it does. there
has been a lot of discussion about this on another email list BCAB some people
have purchased it I happy persevering and getting some useful information.
others struggle with it, and I know of one person who seems to get a lot of use
from it. The advantage of it over knfb Reader is that it is used live so to
speak! you simply open the camera and get the distance correct at a guess! and
you may have one or two sentences read to you. this differs in that you do not
have to take a snapshot and then have knfb Reader convert the image with ocr
and then read to you. I think there are other list members who have this also
so I look forward to their comments.

I was reading in this month’s edition of Access IT about an OCR app called
Amedia which only costs £22. Apparently it has many similarities to the KNFB
app. I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this?
