Hi Charlie

Personally I use Chrome as my default browser, but I have all of them on my
system for sites that won't work on one but will on another.  That's the
nature of the Internet these days, there isn't a "one size fits all" I'm
afraid.

Sight and Sound are currently having a summer sale where you can upgrade
your JAWS for around £95 from any version to the latest which is a good
saving to be honest if your version is 16.

Alternatively, you could download and install NVDA, a free screen reader
from
www.nvaccess.org

Kind regards,

So you think Firefox is the best browser to use? What Jaws sale are you
talking about?

Hi Charlie

Probably, but my advice would be to upgrade your version of JAWS to 2018
while there is a sale on.  If you can't, you might wish to think about
switching to the latest version of NVDA which does work with Firefox.

I know I'll probably get hammered for this, but my view is that if you don't
keep your screen reader up-to-date to work with the latest browsers, you
will have a pretty rough experience on the Internet.

Hi Jackie

Firefox does not work with my Jaws 16. Would Chrome work well with it?
Thanks
Charlie

Hi Charlie

My advice is not to use Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox instead.

Hi,

Whenever I go to view a product on amazon.com, the page takes forever to
load on IE. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks
Charlie
