With me it's not the App but the Kindle Fire Tablet.

Hi,

Yes, this is new to Kindle for Android and it annoys the heck out of me.  No
way to stop it.

iOS also does it, but the sound is a lot more discreet.

All the best
Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Amazon Kindle app on Android, how can I stop beeps at page
turns?

Hi I am just revisiting  the Kindle app with Talkback after a month or so.
When I am in continuous reading mode it now seems to beep at frequent
intervals.  I assume this is to indicate page turns.
I can't remember this happening before and I can't find any setting for it.

Any help welcomed.

I have an HTC One (M8) running Marshmallow.
Jim
