Hi, yes it is a MicroSD card. I also purchased an adaptor just in case
I required one.

The Fire and most phones and tablets take a micro SD card and not a standard old type SD card.
A lot of cards are now sold as Micro as the norm with the old wider SD card holder also supplied as an adaptor. This allows it to be put into PCs etc.
