That sounds like the right card. On my Fire, there is a card slot on the right
hand side towards the top.

Hi Mary,
Fire tablets take microSD cards, not full-sized SD cards.

Hi guys,
I feel really stupid today but I am just unable to see how my SD card
fits in to the Amazon Fire 8 tablet. I know where the thing should
go, near the top on the right side but the memory card seems way too
wide. Is there a tray which pulls out, or do I need some sort of
adaptor? I purchased the memory card which Amazon suggests.
Regards
Mary
