I have been researching the suitability of the Amazon Fire for a hearing
impaired person and saw from Google that there were complaints about it being
far too quiet on earphones.
From the looks of things it is a definite no no for a deaf blind person – a
typical page I looked at is below but would be interested if anybody else has
different experiences.

A possible solution is to apparently use an app called speaker boost but I do
not know how accessible this is.
