Hi Janet
I’ll answer your second question first. The fire TV stick is a media streamer, what this means is that it connects to the Internet and allows you to stream from a variety of online platforms such as YouTube, Netflix and of course Amazon is own prime video service straight to your TV. You can download apps onto the TV stick just like you can with the phone and access a variety of content services and are you can download from the fire store just like the App Store on an iPhone or android play store. To answer your first question, just make sure the fire TV stick you buy has the Alexa voice remote included. I think all models do now, is it a standard, but there was a time when the Amazon fire TV 4K stick was the only one that came with the remote control. Hope this helps.

Hi Mike.

The short answer to your question is fully. The Fire TV stick features Amazon's voice guide which can be enabled the moment you plug the device into the wall. Search Amazon Fire TV accessibility and you should find out all you need to know. My suggestion would be to purchase the Fire TV stick with Alexa voice remote which would give you Alexa built-in and readily accessible from the palm of your hand.
All the best, Ibrahim.
