Hi Fran

The Amazon Echo, which is currently only available in America, is a voice
recognition speaker that is linked to the Internet and smart gadgets.  The
way I describe it is a gadget that is like the Star Treck computer.  You ask
it or tell it to do something, and it tells you or does it.

You could do a quick Google search for detailed info if your interested
more.

Cheers

B

It's their stock response, as they don't pre-announce.  We do know it will
hit the UK market, unfortunately just not the when.

Alison,

Did you ask them to expand on what that actually is intended to mean?

Last week the official response from Amazon to the UK availability question
was "stay tuned"!

Hi Mary

Rumour certainly has it that the Echo will be coming to the UK, but I can't
find any information about it on the Amazon website, and just get info about
it from America if I Google.  Fingers crossed it comes to our shores!

Hi,

Is the Amazon Echo available in the UK?  I have searched the store
and have found a manual and I believe speakers were in the list but
could not find the actual unit.

Regards
Mary
