Well Chris,
I never did get AIM set up with FaceBook as I didn't receive enough
guidance about what I put into each setting and it all looked a bit too
vague for me to fathom ...
So, is this any easier? What do I need to put in to get it to work with FB?

Over on another list we have been talking about a very
new IM client, made by the people who gave us Firefox and
Thunderbird. It's called Instantbird. The "Instant" in
the title is a clue to what it does; allows you to chat
to your buddies, using just about any service, in
realtime. I currently have it set up with Facebook. It
works well certainly with NVDA, which I expected anyway
as Mozilla is very caring with regards to accessibility
and usability. But I can't see it not work with JAWS or
Window-Eyes or even Cobra! To try it, please visit www.instantbird.com.
