Hi, thank you for your suggestions, I already tried reinstalling the app, but
it didn’t help. I didn’t think of powering down the sky Q box, so have just
tried that, but still no success. Thank you again for trying to help.

Are you using Sky Q for your tv? I got this from the Sky Community forum:

my Q TV box to ensure it connected directly to the router."
I think that they are saying that the Echo is trying to connect to the
internet through the Sky Q box rather than your router.
Another suggestion is to delete the Alexa app and re-install it. That
sometimes works for flakey apps.

Hi, I am also having this problem. The item that shows up in Wi-Fi settings
is something like XCNN, it is not what they say it is. I am able to connect
the devices, but it makes no difference, I cannot get the Alexa device to
function. The orange ring shows and there is nothing I can do about it. I
have moved the device to other areas as suggested, but nothing seems to
help. I would be most grateful for any advice there may be.

Hi,
I have just switched providers from BT to Sky broadband and I am trying to
and connect to Amazon but no Amazon wi-fi is showing in the list. I phoned
Sky and they said set up as a new device, which I have done but still no
Amazon wi-fi showing up to finish setting up the Echo. Any ideas please.
All apps on my iPhone are right up to date.
