Jackie I don't know how but the silly voice came on after I fiddled in the
languages setting again, goodness knows what happened because I'd done it
all before and it wouldn't change to any language except good old Daniel. So
I will leave well alone now.

Hi Mandy

I had a problem with it as well to begin with. What you are recommended to
do is ask Siri to turn off VoiceOver, then turn it back on again. If that
doesn't work, as it didn't for me, reset your settings on the phone, and
this will definitely do the job. The only hassle is having to put your WiFi
key back in again, and adjust speed etc of VoiceOver. It is a bit of a
nuisance, but it was the only way I could swap to Alex. I have heard other
people having the same difficulty, but I found it well worthwhile once I did
it.

Kind regards,

Subject: [access-uk] Alex voice on Ifone

Hi,
I upgraded my phone yesterday and downloaded the Alex voice. I have an Ifone
5 S. I normally have it on the English voice and I downloaded the enhanced
quality, then decided to download Alex but it won't change from the English
voice. I restarted the phone but still it stayed on the English voice. Is
this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Mandy
