Hello all, I asked a couple of our screen magnification software users here, and here's one response I've had so far: My personal preference is a bold dark colour on a light background, black on white is the best option for me! I guess the pertinent question is more about accessibility settings and allowing users to make the changes that best suits them rather than identifying a "best fit" model! >>ends Hope this is helpful, Clive -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Saqib Sent: 02 December 2013 09:35 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Advice wanted: what colours do partially sighted people prefer on websites? Hi. Personally I prefer any light coloured text on a black background. Yellow or white text is ideal. > On 1 Dec 2013, at 16:17, "Debby McCallan" <debramccallan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > wrote: > > Hi Mo > From my days with a CCTV magnifier I seem to remember that yellow on black > was pretty good as the yellow wasn't as glary as white. > The last colour I could make out was Royal Blue though, if that's any help. > Debs > > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" > <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Sunday, December 01, 2013 4:06 PM > Subject: [access-uk] Re: Advice wanted: what colours do partially sighted > people prefer on websites? > > >> You might like to consider white text on a black background.
