Hi Peter,
Actually the USB Boombox Plus can go back and forth through a file. This is
the smaller one that has a radio built in.
What it can't do though is remember the position of more than one USB stick.
So if you have a talking newspaper and a book, and you swap, the place of
the other is lost. The Sovereign can remember up to about 10 keys I think.

I haven't had my hands on one, but the one thing the sovereign player has in
its favour, is that you can go forward or back within a particular file
which none of the other cheap players can do.
