Hi Peter, Actually the USB Boombox Plus can go back and forth through a file. This is the smaller one that has a radio built in. What it can't do though is remember the position of more than one USB stick. So if you have a talking newspaper and a book, and you swap, the place of the other is lost. The Sovereign can remember up to about 10 keys I think. I haven't had my hands on one, but the one thing the sovereign player has in its favour, is that you can go forward or back within a particular file which none of the other cheap players can do. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mobeen Iqbal" <mobeeniqbal@xxxxxxxxx> To: "BCAB Discussion List" <bcab@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2013 10:01 AM Subject: [access-uk] Advice wanted: USB pen drive players?Hello everyone. I'm thinking of buying a USB pen drive media player. the 2 models i've seen are the crystal and the soverign. are there any other models available? has anyone ever used these and which one would you recommend? i don't want something too big if possible. if there is an alternative which the RNIB or others don't sell but is available online, suggestions welcome. many thanks in advance, Mo. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
