I think this question came up before. I thought someone suggested you ask Sky if they have such a service. ----- Original Message ----- From: "chris hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi all.
But I am not with BT. Can I still use that number? I have a BT line but I am with Sky for my rental.
Take care.

Hi Chris

Ring 150 and choose the relevant option that will eventually, (yawn), get
you through to someone at BT who can investigate it. If you are not in the phone book you should not have to put up with that, and you can also sign up
for a free privacy agreement with BT where your information is not passed
onto other parties. It stops a lot of crap coming through.

Hello all.
Please can you help?
Every few days or even daily my landline rings. When I answer it, it's as if no one is at the other end. When I dial 1471 they leave a telephone number
of 0177391502.
I am just wondering if anyone heard of this number and if not should I treat it as malicious? If so, how do I go about doing it? I am ex directory so I
have no idea how they got hold of my number.
Strange indeed!
Many thanks in advance. It is greatly appreciated.
Take care.
