Chris, the code is for Derbyshire but there are no numbers starting with nine.
If you receive calls which are silent they are probably computer sent, ignore
them or report to your provider

Cheers

Ron

Subject: [access-uk] Advice on strange phone calls

Hello all.
Please can you help?
Every few days or even daily my landline rings. When I answer it, it's
as if no one is at the other end. When I dial 1471 they leave a
telephone number of 0177391502.
I am just wondering if anyone heard of this number and if not should I
treat it as malicious? If so, how do I go about doing it? I am ex
directory so I have no idea how they got hold of my number.
Strange indeed!
Many thanks in advance. It is greatly appreciated.
Take care.
