hi carol.i'll probably go for the brother QL500A from label zone. although its a manual cut label printer, which means it doesn't automatically cut your labels, at 30 quid including labels its a steal! i just need someone to tell me if the address book app is accessible. i can't try it because i need someone's brother printer serial number to download it...

I had a problem when moving to windows 7 where my old dymo 320 didn't work with win 7, thyey replaced my printer for free, as that's what they do, then the new softwaere for the 450 was not accessible. Dymo helpdesk helped me to trouble shoot the problem, then rig the old version 7.8 softweare to work with the new printers. They know about accessibility, and are very proactive. Btw, I don't know if they have a newer version of their 8.5 software out where they have fixed accessibility out of the box, if they haven't fixed accessibility, they can work around so an older version will work with win 7. Mo I have a Brother QL-570 which is useable. It meets your criteria, but I recall having great issues in getting it recognized by Word and other Office programs. As this was almost three years ago, I can't now recall the details but this list was helpful. Hello Everyone. I'm shopping in search of an accessible easy to use address label printer. I would like something that you can use to print labels reliably where the address isn't just printed on 1 edge of the label as some printers tend to do unless you use a fancy click and drag interface to drag the print to where you want it. is there such a device? if there is, is the included software accessible? are all fields and screen content labeled in the application? or if printing from word, is the addon accessible? any advice greatfully received. many thanks in advance. all the best, Mo. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
