I have saved to phone memory. My phone is N95 8GB. Now I know people have told me, even the shop to go through every single folder and I will eventually find the photographs. I have done this and have not found them. Like I said to you I have not looked under PC Suite yet.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "James Scholes" <james@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "Eleanor Burke" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 4:27 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Hi Eleanor,If you open the image from the media message, there should be a save option in the options menu. Depending on how your phone is setup, they will save to either the phone memory or memory card. One thing about Symbian that I don't like is the lack of saving options sometimes. For example, if I download a 300 MB file from a website, then my phone doesn't accept it because it tries to save it on the 150 MB phone memory without asking me where to save it first. Its the same with images and things received via MMS, the phone will give you know choice sometimes about where you want to save anything. On Sunday, December 07, 2008 at 04:14 PM (GMT), Eleanor Burke wrote:That is a point James, I just went to Open Attachment. Now tell me please because I messed up saving images to my phone, how will I save the e-mail attachment? When I say I messed up the saving of images, I mean I was sentthem in a Media message. They are there I can see them in Galery but I cannot see them in the Images folder when I connect to my PC. Steve has suggested I would see them through PC Suite but as yet I have not really used PC Suite. Quick Office should open them, if you can save the file first to your phone. If I get an e-mail attachment byway of a word document can I open it and read it. I got one but it was readingall sorts of 'rubbish' for want of a better word. I am wondering if that was because when my niece downloaded the word document she downloaded it from the Internet and maybe it had all the internet language for puttingonthe web if you see what I mean. Now if I had opened the word document as attachment via my computer rather than the mobile, it would have been justfine. Maybe I need another programme put in to my phone to read Word documents. What do you say please?Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Erica" <rebellion220@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 3:09 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Eleanor go to contacts, find the one you want to add email addresses for, then press options and go down to edit. Now go options again and add new detail. This brings up a list which you can choose from. Select email fromthe list-it is quite a long one, ok that and input the address, pressing key 2 when done. You should by rights be sorted with that now. Any moreproblams let us know. Also if you need these instructions separated out I can do that too.Erica. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 07, 2008 2:47 PM To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Well Amro I am looking at this again. I also noted Steve's comment re Clive's suggestions. Bow I appreciate all 3 of you taking time to assist me.Think is if I set defaults then that too can have its drawbacks in thatIwill want to use call, text and e-mail. Where I am having the problem is that I want to add e-mail addresses. Now that is fine if I receiveane-mail from someone I can save their e-mail address (I discovered) butfor those that have not yet responded which I have not accessed yet through my mobile. I want to add them in and here is wher I get confused. I thought I would go to Edit but that does not allow me to put in an e-mail address. I also have this problem where I have someone's mobile and then I get a landline number for them, I cannot put in via Edit either. This ends up with me having them in twice, onece mobile and once landline. I lshould not have to do that.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Amro Bilal" <amro_bilal@xxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:59 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Eleanor, go to Contacts, open the contact you need to configure byselecting it, open the Options menu (key one), arrow down to Defaults, select it and you can specify what defaults are used for that contactfrom there such as phone number, text message number, email address etc.Cheers, Amro----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:31 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Clive I tried this actually and then I went to send an e-mail and forinstance it kept saying Rosie Mobile when I wanted it to say RosieE-mail. I had no way of checking if it was going to be her mobile ore-mail that would come up because as I say it insisted on Rosie Mobile.Eleanor----- Original Message ----- From: "Clive Pallett" <clive.pallett@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 3:17 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Adding E-mail To My Contacts in N95Hello Eleanor,Glad to hear you have e-mail set up on your phone. When editing a contact, choose edit and then you need to go intooptions again. You can quickly do this by pressing the joystick in. The first option is Add Detail. Select this and you can choose one from the list, which is quite long, so arrow down to E-mail. You canadd as many details to a contact as you wish.Hope this helps.Best wishes,Clive Pallett** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq-- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
