JAWS handles both the tables on this page with no problems whatsoever.

If you take, for example, http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/7284876 , there IS a
table on that page, but probably not laid out in the way a screenreader could
cope with possibly.

There's also 3 day forecast RSS feed
http://open.live.bbc.co.uk/weather/feeds/en/7284876/3dayforecast.rss which is
also fairly useless for you.

But I was just pratting about with Google Docs earlier, and suddenly thought I
might try something - using the ImportHTML function to turn a table into text.

Have a look at both of these:

Heathrow Daily Forecast: http://goo.gl/WzmIQ
Heathrow Hourly Forecast: http://goo.gl/e4Xwq

Using just the function
=ImportHtml("http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654884";"table";2) for example.

Of course, it needs cleaning up a bit, but I'd as I'm learning Docs anyway and
if you were interested, let me know your preferred format and I'll try and make
you a custom text table that would always be up to date, for the forecast you
choose.

Go on! Give me a challenge!

I used to use the BBC site quite happily, entering in my postcode and
bringing up a table with progressive reports through the day. The page seems
to have changed. I can find no table and only incomplete information and no
  table.

  Have tried
     http://braille.wunderground.com

It is certainly easy to use but does not give an hour by hour breakdown like
the weather.co.uk site unless I missed an option. So I think I will stick
with the weather.co.uk site even though it is a bit more fiddly to use.
