Thanks, It's a good tester and certainly worked with my VirginMedia cable
line. Interesting that the download speed when connected by cable to the
router was 37 MBPS, and that it dropped to 7MBPS over a wireless network one
floor below the router. Just shows what the drop out can be.

which provider are you with? BT do a good speedtest, though don't know if
it will work with non BT services.

Hi Vanja, come down the page and you'll find some unlabelled buttons, the
top one being 6. Activate it with the spacebar and it'll run the test and
show you the results. It's pretty quick, but give it a minute or two.
