Nationwide online couldn't be better.

You can rename accounts so that its very clear which is which, and there two
interfaces, the full on web access which gives multiple ways fo doing most
things, quick templates of combo boxes etc or more explanatory forms which
do tend to be layed out in tables but work fine. Or alternatively you can
log in through the mobile interface which is mainly intended for access from
phones and other mobile devices but is text only and works really well with
screenreaders although the functionality is a bit limited, you can transfer
money around and make payments, but not add new people or organisations to
pay, or delete old ones.

Subject: [access-uk] Accessible online banking

hi,

My wife and I have used the IF online bank for a good few years now for all
our transactions, savings, direct debits etc. Up until now I've let her as
the sighted one do all the necessaries re managing the accounts and I have
no complaints with that apart from the fact I would really like to be more
hands on with what's going on, look after some of the stuff myself in
particular as I am self-employed and so would like to be able to deal with
some more of the basic work of moving money around myself.

so my questions is quite simple, what experience do people have of different
online banking services and in particular is there one bank / building
society that people really rate in term of the accessibility of their site
with access technology (in my case Jaws 8). I will do some investigating of
our current bank, IF, although from the limited experience I've had before
it seems quite confusing to work with when you're trying to manage say a
couple of current accounts, savings, ISA's etc.

Anyway your comments / recommendations gratefully received,

with thanks,

Phil
