Hello, if you are intrusted by barcodes labels, we made in France a software
easy to use, multilingual which can be used with a inkjet or laser printer.
Most popular formats of labels are included, and it is possible to create a new
mask if needed.

You can download it here :
http://www.eticode.fr/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=14&Itemid=66&lang=fr

and find other softwares for use barcodes on our website :
  www.eticode.fr

All softwares are free! HTH, Olivier

  Hi George,

Thanks for this explanatory message. I din't realise the
  printers were thermal.

What advantages do you see in using these labels as opposed to
those printed in a normal printer, apart from the obvious already
  mentioned of not needing ink?

  Carol

  Hi Carol,

They are all much the same. In fact between home and ofice, we
  have
at least one from each manufacturer. They are all thermal
  printers, so
you never need ink or ribbons. The are relatively easy to load
  once
you been shown a time or two.

You asked about uses. Greetings cards - as well as the address
  label,
you can add a "From" label inside the card with a message if you
  want.
Property labels - "If found, please telephone bla, bla". Keep a
  few
in your purse or wallet as business cards. Junk mail - "Please
  return
  to sender".

And if you are one of these really lucky and clever people with a
  bar
code reader, you can print your own bar codes to label all manner
  of
  things.

  George.

Once you get a real label printer, you'd be surprised just how
  many
other uses you find for it.

How about an ordinary printer with an envelope feed?

   Hello

Can anyone recommend an accessible label printer. This is
  mainly
  for
   printing labels for letters etc.

   With thanks in advance

   Mike.
