Got to agree, Pele. Sometimes it seems like a access box ticking process rather than actual considered concession. Braille on many things is only effective if the VI person knows where the Braille is and can actually read Braille. How many doors do we have to feel, for example, before we find the one with the Braille for Mens/womens Toilet? It is like our blue badges. They both have braille on them, but all it says is "Front". This is daft as the person who is parking their car and actually using the badge should have enough vision to know which way round it should go. If not, they should not be driving.
