Ofcom is currently conducting consultation as to the desirability of
accessible TV electronic programme guides. I found the online survey a bit
heavy-going but if you would like to add your support for this, you can do
so by telephoning Jacopo Genovese at Ofcom on 020 7981 3725. In particular,
RNIB are encouraging us to support question 13 on page 30 which reads:
Do you aghree that the EPG code should be amended as as shown in Annex 5.
Essentially Annex 5 is the proposed new EPG code which would require efforts
to make all EPG systems to be accessible.
