It's the RSS reader 2.6.1.
What happens is that periodically the feed URL for one feed seems to
become corrupted and take on the feed URL for another.
For example I had the Huffington Post feed URL for a long time and then
somehow it got confused and the 'Surrey Jobs' feed URL somehow replaced it.
So when I hitt return on the Huffington Post the articles panel is
populated with the 'Surrey Jobs' articles.
And it has happened with more than one feed.
I'm now using the RSS reader in Thunderbird but I don't like it as much
as yours if it works properly.

I think most sighted people have moved to online RSS readers. Google
Reader was popular, then they shut it down. I use theoldreader.com,
but I'm sighted, so no knowing if that is accessible. You can also
subscribe to news in your web browser.
