Subject: [access-uk] Re: Accessible Pocket DAB/FM radios
I have a Goodmans pocket DAB/FM set which is very easy to use once you’ve gone
through the business of setting the presets. There are twenty of these on both
DAB and Fm. As ever, identifying the stations is the main bugbear though with
my residual vision I managed to do it without assistance. It is very compact
and has a small external speaker on the front and a telescopic areal which only
needs to be extended when not listening on headphones. The battery is
rechargeable via a micro USB port and charge time is very good. The one thing
it doesn’t have anywhere on the casing is a model number I’m afraid.

Hi
I know this has been dealt with previously but I now need to purchase
one of these radios.
Back in 2014 Jackie Brown recommended 1. Roberts Ecologic 1 DAB/FM
portable radio and
2. Roberts Record R.
Are there more up to date radios on the market? I am looking for
approximately 10 presets on each inputs for a price of around £60.
Look forward to hearing soon.
Regards.
