Hi mike.

Apart from specialist players, plextalk, victor reader etc, I have never seen
any other radios that fit the bill. I have been looking for ages. There is
always the pi, or I tend to use my android phone. Roberts do make some but
there is no speech feedback.

Cheers,

Mo.

Hello list,

I have a sneaky suspicion that pretty soon the BBC are going to drop
the
streams they currently use, which will stop my Plextalk Pocket being
able to listen to internet radio streams.

So I'm looking for a dedicated internet radio alternative.

Does anybody have any recommendations for an accessible internet radio.
It must:

* Be either portable or reasonably compact so I can listen to it in bed
:-)

* Not require any sighted assistance to adjust which stations are
selectable.

* Have easy controls and a headphones socket.

* At the very least be able to receive BBC Radio Four Extra and Radio
Four.

Mike
