Hi.

I am using a portable version of CDEx in windows7 which i can send you, i think its version 1.70 or 71 will have to double check. It works fine. Are you using windows7 32bit or 64bit? If you'd like to take this off list, i'm at:

Also, NCH software make an accessible CD ripper if you want to take that for a spin, no pun intended. It should be available as a trial if its not free. Most software made by NCH is accessible as well, here's a link:

Let me know how you get on.

all the best,

Hi all,

I'm looking for an easy to use CD ripper for my wife to use under Windows 7 (Win 7/IE 9/Jaws 13). Previously she used CDEX under XP which was pretty easy to use.

I had a look at the Windows 7 version of CDEX, but it seems to use an IE toolbar and doesnt seem very easy to use as a result.

Has anyone any suggestions as to an alternative, or is there even an alternative interface to CDDEX I haven't seen? It needs to have the ability to go out to the Internet to look up CD/track titles.

Thanks

Gary
