But to answer your question specifically, yes, it will let you stream from
your planner, even when away from home.
Also, check out an earlier message I wrote about why swiping is bad for you.
I think everyone should learn to explore by touch, it is more reliable than
swiping nowadays. If you explore, rather than swipe, then the Sky Plus app
for iPhone is 100 percent accessible.

You are quite right - the only way to access the list of programmes on your
planner now is to slide your finger up and down the screen. However double
tapping on the programme you want still activates it as it used to. You do
need to be careful if what you've opened is a series though because what
double tapping does in that instance is to expand the list. You then need
to slide your finger back down the screen to access the list of episodes in
the series.
Steve, you mention Sky Q. This is the first I've heard of that. Will it
enable the streaming of planner content merely on devices connected to the
same wifi network or will you be able to access your planner whilst away
from home?

sliding my finger, as you say, but I can't activate them as buttons like I

The Android app is near perfect. The only thing you can't do is to access
your deleted programs, as you can on the box.
I am looking forward to Sky Q and hope the apps will still be as accessible.
Sky Q will enable you to stream your planner to devices.
The iOS app is fine too, provided you do a little exploring and don't just
swipe. Swiping is bad for you <Smile>.

I might soon be in a position to feed back to Sky for future development at
an early stage of these two apps. I would appreciate it if you could tell
me what you have found is good and bad about both using speech and/or
magnification on Apple and Android devices. Also, what would you like to
do with these apps that you cannot do currently using access tech.
This is a real chance for us to get things sorted at the design stage.
