Yes you well and Joe’s Professional? Got to love dictation.
Check your messages.
Blind people’s messages are really going down the pan in terms of standards,
because they don’t check what they dictate.

Hi
Yes you well, if you are going to use Citrix terminal services you will need a
Joes professional license with the Citrix terminal services add-on.

Ah maybe I’m wrong then. It’s a bit naughty of them though, since the Pro and
Home versions are the same, except for wording on the title bar.

Hi Steve,
Is this a new thing? I use 2018 and had the Home version, but the remote
licence was only available for the Pro version, so I had to upgrade first then
add the licence. That was around September last year.
Kindest,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Yes, I forgot to say, you will definitely need a remote licence for it to work,
though both Home and Pro can have a remote licence.
I believe a remote licence is about £250.00, but it is one off, there are no
upgrade payments.

Hello Sarah,
Most likely you will need to have a Pro version of jaws running. In addition to
this a separate licence of Jaws will be required for the remote server. This
can only be done with the Pro version of Jaws.
If the below options don’t work, you will most likely need as I explained.
Kindest,
Michael

Hi Sarah,
You might want to look in JAWS help for Keystrokes In Citrix Terminal Services.
Quickest way to find it, is to go into JAWS help, then Alt+S for Search then
type Citrix.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Accessibility of Citrix - was accessible VPN
Hi,
Following on from the useful thread re accessible VPN I would like guidance /
feedback on the accessibility of Citrix.
I am due to be doing some home working and in order to access work-related
files, systems etc. I am being told I will need to use Citrix to gain access to
this via a VPN – does anyone have information / experience of using Citrix in
this way and how accessible it is with screen readers in particular Jaws 2018?
Many thanks as always,
Sarah
