Keith, have taken a quick look and my impressions are very good.  The site
navigation is easy, clear and accurate.  The information given seems very
easy to understand.

I like the alt key approach, I would suggest one improvement, that is, to
make *all* the links on alt keys.

Otherwise, I think from a totally blind person, who is reasonably competent
on websites point of view, it is lovely and easy to use.  I would welcome
comment from people who are not familiar with web sites and also how does it appear visually? For I note there are facilities to adjust the colour, but
nothing for the text size.
