I've given a video recorded statement and had no issue with doing so. I was
picked up from work by 3 PC's in a police van which caused a bit of a stir
with a few hundred colleagues looking on from the office windows but the
police explained everything in detail around the procedure and it was
recorded in a small, comfortable room at a local community police station.
It ran at my pace and the questioning was formal but relaxed so it wasn't
like an interrogation.

Regards.
