Margarita. A friend of mine, totally blind, uses the Bush stand-alone radio and he managed to set it up himself. Another frinedfriend, again total, uses the original Pure mono stand-alone. Both of these, I believe can be bought for £100 or less at places such as Dixons. Dobtless you will get plentiful replies, but hope that helps a little.
