Does anyone have experience of Access to Work? Did it help? Was it worth it?
I am partially sighted. I work mostly on a PC, but also have to refer to
printed material several times a day. For the PC I have SuperNova (2014 edition
I think), and a Ruby video magnifier for the printed stuff. In the last couple
of years my sight has got worse, with missing words or parts of words all the
time. This slows me up a lot and is frustrating. The local Low Vision Clinic
could not suggest anything new, but did suggest trying Access to Work (which I
have not done before.)
But I have my doubts about whether they could make a real difference?
Any advice, suggestions welcome.
