Your local university might allow you to join as a member of the public, my university charges £26 for an annual subscription. This could give you access to their data bases and journals as well as text books.

Hi all.

I'm returning to my work as a social worker after an absence of almost four years. I need to do some really heavy reading but don't really have the time to borrow books from the RNIB. Can anyone tell me if they know of a web site where I can visit and read books or articles on Social Work Practice, Psychology, Counselling, Drugs - Alcohol etc,

It would be great if I could because I could copy these into Goldwave and make audio cd's for listening away from my computer.

Best wishes.
Andy from sunny Kilcreggan.
