work-around that somebody had come up with.
I will have a go at pointing my CCTV at it. I still have a little vision.

Most laptops and desktops only allow you to access bios settings at system
boot-up, usually by pressing F2, F10 or the delete key. These are
inaccessible because windows is not loading at this stage, thus no speech.
The only bios's setup routines that I've seen are relatively though not
completely accessible are Compaq and Toshiba. Both models of machines
have
system diagnostics utilities which include tools to make adjustments in
the
bios, however the level of the adjustments you can make will differ
between
the utilities in windows and the start-up routine.
