Glad you sorted it out Barry.

Last time I did this for myself I was also using Jaws, when I did it
this time I was using Window-Eyes as I am currently converting.
Anyway glad to be of help it is rare I know enough or have the
confidence to explain something to someone.

Mandy.

Thanks for this, Mandy. It wasn't quite as straight forward as your
instructions, but I managed to muddle through with the Jaws cursor. The

problem was that there wasn't a view menu when I went into AVG.

Hi Barry this is very easy to do.

1. Open AVG you will be in Control centre.

2. Alt v for view.

3. Tab down to email scanner and enter.
4. Tab to configure enter.

5. Tab to certify incoming mail and uncheck this then tab to certify
outgoing mail and uncheck.

6. Tab to Okay.

Job done.

Sorry about this guys. I have been using Nod32 until recently but, due
to
lack of funds, I've had to revert to a free virus checker. As I didn't
expect to be doing this, I've never read the emails that discuss the
attachment to emails that AVG put on. Can they be got rid of without
stopping the email check?

Thanks

Barry
