When I used the virus only it was fine. I'm kind of supposing that the
spyware part might be the problem. I'll certainly be experimenting - it's a
shame once buying the package that it can't all be used without detriment.

hi, i use AVG but only the firewall and anti virus. i use different spyware
and spam filters, in fact i don't have spyware detection software running in
the background at all! i just urn it as and when. i use cloudmark as my spam
filter and don't have any problems there. i have no problems with
performance. i had the opposite problem with nod32 to steve nutt, i found it
caused more problems than it solved. guess it's all different for different
people! smile. i'd try shutting down AVG and see if it makes any difference
to your performance before finding it guilty. smile.

AVG always slowed my machine down. Trouble is, you don't always realise it,
until you change. When I put Nod32 on, the machine flew in comparison.

Is anyone using the AVTG Professional package with spam filter firewall and
spyware filter? I like it and it's accessible, but I think it's slowing my
computer down quite badly. Just in case it's my machine needing renewed can
anyone let me know if they're having the same difficulty?
