Hi John
Try the AVG remover tool! Download link follows, hope it works!

Subject: [access-uk] AVD Unistallation Problems

I've just tried to uninstall AVG because it seems to be massively
slowing my computer down.

I opened and installed it two days ago from the NINTE installer program.

When I open Control Panel and hit delete/uninstall in Win8 I simply get
the message that a problem has been encountered and that AVG may already
have been uninstalled, which it has not.

I've also got the Revo Uninstaller on my PC and, when I run this, the
list of installed programs which can be uninstalled does not contain AVG!

Anyone know how to get rid of this somewhat insidious scanner, before I
have to resort to restoring my system to an earlier date?

Thanks.
John.
