Hi all, Some time back I remember filling out a form on the Online Preference Service *NOT* to receive unsolicitated email. Time goes by and you have dealings with other companies and, all of a sudden, back is a whole lot of unwanted stuff! Trouble is, I'm not totally convinced that all are really from the (reputable) "Online Preference Service". I've looked up some references to them and they seem to use a number of addresses, which doesn't help me at all. Lately the messages I've received have included items about insurance and the last was about Battersea Dogs Home. GOOGLE didn't turn up anything from the address (oor part of it) that I entered: OnlinePreferenceService in association with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home [info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Unfortunately, I don't appear to have a record of my original entry to Online Preference Service, the password I used etc. so I'm going to have to start again. If anyone is sure of the genuine address I should go to in order to put a stop to some of this unneeded stuff then please let me know. Thanks for any help. -- Carol carol.pearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
