I suppose one could possibly contact the list owner and have him or her
subscribe you manually. As a list owner for 12 years now I have to do this
quite a bit in the past with google and yahoo.

Thanks again, Andrew. i am glad that I pursued this matter because I had
been wondering whether to pay the extra £4 or £5 for the Demon Home Office
package in case I really needed the web space in the future. But if I can
upload with FTP Explorer to the 110mb.com space, the Demon £17.99 product
would be more than adequate for my needs.
