Hi Kulvinder, if I were you while you're at it get the accessory pack. It's called the APH1. The zoom itself comes with no accessories, other than for a 2 gb micro SDHC card. The accessory pack contains an AC adaptor, a USB cable, a popshield, a mic stand adapter, which you screw into the Zoom and you can use as a handle, A case, and a tripod. The tripod's rubbish, but the rest is well worth having.

If you want the same if not better recording quality with none of the hassle of menus look at the Zoom H1. It's all buttons, not menus. The only thing you may have to get sighted assistance on, unless you can learn as I did to do it yourself is to set recording frequency. If you do in fact have to get someone to set that for you they'd only need to do it once for Wav and once for Mp3. As long as you leave the auto gain in the off position you won't change frequency accidentally. The auto gain switch when in the on position also places you in the frequency select mode. The auto gain's rubbish anyway, and no self respecting recordist needs it, so just leave it turned off and you'll be fine. Set your level manually. If you do in fact get a Zoom H1 I've done notes, so give me a shout off list.John.----- Original Message ----- From: "Kulvinder Bhogal" <kbhogal1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "Access UK" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 26, 2011 7:28 PM Subject: [access-uk] ACCESSIBILITY OF ZOOM H2Hi allI am looking at the possible purchase of the above.
